Preschool and Pre-K Programs
No matter the age, all of our teachers provide a healthy early learning environment.
Preschool Ages: 3 & 4
Teachers assist preschoolers in honing in on their cognitive skills, such as sequencing and matching as well as social skills and language arts skills, such as storytelling and writing.
Our teachers provide structure and routine while also allowing your child to choose activities that interest and excite them. There are learning centers for art, science, dramatic play, music and math.
Children will be involved in daily physical activities on the playground or in our indoor play space. Parachute play, bike riding, climbing and sliding promote gross motor fun while drawing, painting and building develop essential fine motor skills.
Pre-K Ages: 4 & 5
Teachers focus on kindergarten-readiness and therefore provide an environment that mirrors a kindergarten classroom. Our Pre-K teachers emphasize reading, writing, and math. Children will also be engaged in problem-solving and critical thinking. Your child will be taught a curriculum that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond. Extra time and attention will be given to make sure children are grasping kindergarten skills and concepts.
Your child will enjoy “recess” each day. Whether riding bikes, playing catch, swinging, sliding, tumbling, jumping rope, or playing tag physical exercise is incorporated multiple times a day, both indoors and outdoors. Children in this age group will also utilize technology to extend their knowledge base.
